Mise-en-scene

The locations
We are planning to film at:
Ultrasound Blinds
Unit 29
Forest Business Park
Argall Avenue E10 7FB

We will also be filming on Argall Avenue itself

A few of the problems will be the background noise of trucks and various other vehicles; although, I don’t think it will be that much of a problem sound-wise. Another problem may be using a van to kidnap one of the actors, residents in the area may think it’s real, therefore we may need to notify them just in case.

Lighting
We are planning on using low-key lighting in order to stick to the stereotype of the genre of our movie which is a crime-thriller. To make this happen, within the warehouse that’s going to be used, there will be top lights, we will turn on the back lights but not the front in order to create the low-key lighting effect. We will also be reliant on street lights (if any filming at night happens), on daylight itself and also when filming in the bedroom, we will use either a lamp or we will open the curtain in order to let the daylight in to create a natural lighting rather than an artificial one.
